Small Silver Shark (5-6cm)

The Silver Shark (Balantiocheilos melanopterus), also widely known as the Bala Shark, is an iconic, sleek swimmer with bright metallic silver scales and sharply defined black margins on its dorsal, caudal, and anal fins.

Despite their shark-like appearance and energetic nature, Silver Sharks are peaceful, social schooling fish that add constant activity and movement to larger aquarium setups.
